About the Author

N.W. Bulfin recently completed an honours degree in mechanical engineering, part-time through TUD. However, when he’s not contemplating the natural world, he’s busy imaging the supernatural one. A native of the bustling southeast Dublin suburb of Rathmines, who loves nothing more than venturing into the countryside beyond to draw inspiration from the sacred sites scattered throughout the Irish landscape.

Failte/Welcome

Here you will find modern thriller writing inspired by ancient Irish mythology and other megalithic musings. N.W. Bulfin’s work draws from the sacred sites that dot the Irish landscape and the legends attached to them. Adapting these tales to the modern novel offers him more material than he could ever wish for.

Revival

Since his primary school trip to Newgrange, N.W. Bulfin has been fascinated by Ireland’s Neolithic structures and their mysterious builders, but even more so by their lore. Intrigued by the stories connected to these places, he has longed for a revival of his country’s often overlooked mythology.

Today the green shots of these legends revival can be seen in recent Irish cinematography and on the shelves of its bookshops, and to play a part in their reintroduction is a privilege for him.
